The pictures of quilts that appear on my Quilt Greeting Cards and Quilt Note Cards are pictures of quilts that I have made since I started quilting in 1990. These cards are all exquisite and will make a great gift.

Quilt Greeting Cards contain specific greetings (Birthday, Thank You, etc.) and can be sent, framed or gift boxed for a special person. There are 6 different greeting cards. Each has a quilt shown on the front cover, and information about the artist on the back of the card.

Quilt Note Cards are blank inside and can be personalized and sent as a greeting, framed as art, or given as a gift. There are 10 different note cards. Each has a quilt shown on the front cover, and a picture and information about the artist on the back of the card.

All quilt cards are 5"x 7" glossy cards. Envelopes are white. There is a minimum order of any 10 cards, which can be mixed and matched. The cards are also available individually wrapped or in a custom glossy (red, lavender or dark purple) hard cardboard gift box. Heart of All Senses Note Card

Heart Of All Senses

Send this card to say I love you. This is a favorite Valentine's Day card.

Helen Keller wrote that "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart." The quilt pictured on this card is made of pieces of royal red and black fabrics that make up a five pointed star, each point representing one of the five senses. The blocks are framed in such a way that you can see 'dancing hearts'. I used bright red fabrics along with black, white and red prints and pieced a border with heart shapes that dance around to frame the quilt. The quilt picture is bordered on top and bottom by glossy red.

Love Lights All Things Note Card

Love Lights All Things

Send this card to declare your love of life and all it has to offer.

A bright and colorful fabric was used to 'light' this quilt. I named this quilt in tribute to Stevie Wonder, whose music and lyrics about love and life continue to inspire me. His bright light shines through his blindness and manifests his genius. The traditional Flying Geese quilt pattern is used for this quilt. I used a printed fabric with colorful dots, representing lights, that serves as the background for solid color geese that are free in flight. The quilt picture is bordered on top and bottom by glossy purple.

Life's Infinite Possibilities Note Card

Life's Infinite Possibilities

Send this card with a message of encouragement and hope.

Sometimes the choices we make determine the path our lives will take. To make this quilt, I chose fabrics in olive green, burgundy and beige. The fabric used in the center of the star has beige dots that symbolize multiple stars moving through time and space, as they do in the universe. Green and red are colors that symbolize life for me. The quilt pictured has a glossy green bordering the top and bottom.

Triumph of the Spirit Note Card

Triumph of The Spirit

Send this card to boost someone's spirits.

This card is often used in times of sorrow or grief. It is also used to celebrate one's triumph over adversity. This quilt is based on the traditional attic windows quilt pattern. I chose fabric that reminded me of stained glass and I cut the squares to show movement as though you could capture a moment in time while looking through the windows of a soul. Purple, gold, orange and black are the predominant colors in this quilt.

Thought Creates Note Card

Thought Creates

Send this card with a message of empowerment.

I made the quilt pictured on this card during a period of my life where I became acutely aware of the power of thought to create. Orange fabric is used as the points around these elongated stars that represent thought forms in movement. A plain, off white background fabric is used, as if it is a canvas, and the squares and stars are the creation.

The Fifth Treasure Note Card

The Fifth Treasure

Send this card to a friend or to say 'Thank You'.

The quilt pictured on this card was named after the book entitled, Mieko and the Fifth Treasure, written by Eleanor Coerr. The book tells the story of Mieko, a young Japanese girl, whose life changes after the bomb drops on Nagasaki, and how through love and friendship she 'heals' herself and regains her talent and 'fifth treasure' for painting Japanese word pictures. I wanted to convey, by the use of these fabrics in green, blue and purple, a Japanese garden, with lanterns. The traditional Courthouse Steps pattern was used, in a pleated form.
