This
quilt was made from a 1930's hand pieced quilt top in my collection,
which I modified. The top contains feedsack and muslin fabrics which
were individually hand pieced in the traditional 'Dresden Plate'
pattern. I chose 1930's reproduction fabrics for the backing and
binding. The backing is a rich red and green fabric, which is beautifully
complemented by a green posey fabric used for the binding. This
quilt is machine quilted with a meandering pattern and the fabrics
are rich and colorful. The quilt and other fabrics used were pre-washed.
The quilt top, backing, binding and batting are 100% cotton. The
quilt is machine washable.
