Star Gazing

This
quilt was made from a number of star blocks that is comprised of
fabrics from the 1930's, 1940's and 1950's. It is fabulous. I used
a 1930's reproduction green posey print fabric in the alternating
block and it frames each star very appropriately. A colorful and
bright cheery print is used to border and complete the quilt top.
This fabric is also used for the backing. The binding is made from
a playful purple 1930's reproduction fabric. All fabrics used in
the quilt were pre-washed. The quilt top, backing, binding and batting
are 100% cotton and the quilt is machine washable.
