This
quilt was made from a 1930's hand pieced quilt top in my collection,
which I modified. The top contains feedsack and muslin fabrics which
were hand pieced in the traditional 'Turkey Tracks' pattern. I chose
a beautiful gray, red and black printed fabric for the backing and
another designer gray fabric, in 1930's tradition, to be used as
the binding. The resulting quilt is magnificent, especially because
of the intricate machine quilting in the alternating blocks that
surround the turkey tracks. The quilt and other fabrics used were
pre-washed. The quilt top, backing, binding and batting are 100%
cotton. The quilt is machine washable.
